Today’s modern botanical vegan wedding inspiration shoot aims to illustrate that ‘having a vegan wedding does not mean a bride wearing a bag for a dress.’ According to the Vegan Society veganism has grown 350% in the last ten years. It is then great to see that industries such as the wedding industry are starting to embrace the trend which goes hand in hand with eco-friendly values.
As we very well know choosing eco-friendly doesn’t mean you need to compromise on style. The same can now be said for a vegan wedding. Hellbunt Events the team behind the concept and styling have created such a beautiful shoot with an incredible dessert table featuring edible succulents, a gorgeous bridal couple wearing fair-trade clothing and rings, and classy flower arrangements in shades of blush.
English bluebell wood wedding inspiration from Fern and Field for a modern outdoor spring celebration
Samantha / 6 April 2017
I have no doubt that today’s bluebell wood wedding inspiration shoot will absolutely blow you away. It certainly had me Googling the nearest bluebell wood to dance among. And you’ll be pleased to know that this stunning location could be the magical setting for your big day.
The shoot was lovingly created and styled by Fern and Field, the team behind the weddings at Farnell Farm in Kent. It features dreamy whimsical wedding dresses, outdoor woodland ceremony inspiration, tipi tents hidden in secluded fields and nature inspired details. Plus two of our recommended suppliers are featured.
Polly from Fern and Field told us more about the shoot, the inspiration, and the venue…

Today’s beautiful collection of hellebore wedding flower ideas sees the return of our ‘An ode to...’ series that we so enjoyed doing a couple of years back. A series highlighting what we feel are the unsung heroes of the British floral world. Beautiful blooms that may sometimes get over looked but can make a stunning contribution to your wedding flowers.
Winter brides may feel like they are missing out on the wide selection of flowers that are available throughout the warmer months. However with our hellebore wedding flower ideas we’re going to show there are plenty of beautiful winter blooms.
In bloom through winter into early spring, hellebores are available in a plethora of shades and hues. Making them the perfect flower to fit with most colour themes.

A Southend Barns autumn wedding inspiration shoot with Minna wedding dress, seasonal foliage and lanterns
Samantha / 26 January 2017
Today’s Southend Barns autumn wedding inspiration shoot is bound to cheer up any ‘January blues’. Think soft glowing lights, trailing foliage in vibrant autumnal hues, jewel-toned seasonal flowers and ethereal bridal style evoking visions of Elven folk from a Tolkien novel.
This beautiful shoot was dreamt up by the rustic farm venue Southend Barns in Chichester and To Have and To Hire wedding stylists. The shoot aimed to showcase local and ethical wedding businesses which of course we always love to see. The styling was a celebration of autumn to reflect the beautiful textures, forms and colours it has to offer. Everything was perfectly captured by award-winning wedding photographer Kelly Hearn.
An earthy woodland wedding shoot with exquisite animal masks and a seasonal winter bouquet of seedheads and ferns
Charlie / 5 January 2017
What better way to kick off the New Year than with a seasonal appropriate earthy woodland wedding shoot. It’s full of winter wedding inspiration – think feathers, seedheads, foliage and pine cones. Plus the most exquisite animal masks we’ve ever seen. These are proper grown up masks, perfect we reckon if you want a quirky detail to add a twist to your wedding photos.
So what do I love most about this earthy woodland wedding shoot? I love the attention to seasonal details like the pine cone and pheasant feather hair decorations. It’s over to photographer Megan Duffield to tell us more about what inspired the shoot…

The ultimate party season is fast approaching so surely there is not a more perfect time to check out a book solely focused on creating beautifully themed parties. Decorate for a Party by Holly Becker of the fab Decor8, design and lifestyle blog and Leslie Shewring of the charming blog A Creative Mint provides an abundance of ‘stylish and simple ideas for meaningful gatherings.’
With such brilliant creative minds behind the book you can find the sort of inspiration and DIY suggestions you would expect. And you know we are a sucker for a good DIY project especially if it involves re-using or recycling items that you already have around the house. With this in mind we pawed over the lovely pages and selected a simple DIY wedding menu wall hanging to make to find out just how easy the suggestions are for you.
So check out our version of their DIY wedding menu wall hanging followed by our review of the book.
DIY Wedding Menu Wall Hanging
Now we couldn’t just review a DIY book without testing out an idea and giving it a go to see how simple they really are. With a friends winter wedding fast approaching, I selected an idea that I felt would work with the look and theme she is going for – a DIY wedding menu wall hanging.
