I’m excited to tell you that The Natural Wedding Company will be exhibiting at the North West’s first green wedding fayre!  Being based in the North West I’m delighted to be supporting the event and am looking forward to meeting ‘green’ brides- and grooms-to-be .

The Great Big Green Wedding Fayre is taking place on the weekend of the 5th and 6th September, and is being held at Crosby Hall in Little Crosby on the outskirts of Liverpool.  The fayre is hosted by the lovely Amanda and Jemma of GreenLeaf Press, a newly launched eco conscious stationery business.

Eco Chic Wedding and Home Show 2009

Yesterday The Natural Wedding Company had its first official outing at the UK’s first Eco Chic Wedding and Home Show.  It was held at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens and featured around 30 businesses.  It was a fantastic day and was lovely to meet the other exhibitors and to chat to people who were planning their weddings.

One of my best friend’s – Maria – came along to help me, and when we finally arrived (we spent twenty minutes and four junctions too many on one motorway as we were chatting too much) we had a great time setting up our table.  The flowers on our table were from Blossom florist in Manchester, they were all English grown – a mixture of narcissi, fresia, tulips, greenery and twiggy bits.  The lovely snowflakes (very similar to snowdrops) were also from Blossom.
