It’s been a little quiet on the blog, we’ll have more details to share on that soon. But today we are delighted to be sharing with you this very special Celtic wedding inspiration shoot from TNWC photographer Emma Stoner.
I love the wild and natural styling from Emma Stoner and The Prop Factory. It is earthy and organic, with the most beautiful natural colour palette that reflects the surroundings. For any couples who are looking for Celtic wedding inspiration, this is a truly beautiful styled shoot to give you lots of ideas. These Celtic wedding ideas are subtle, refined, and elegant.
Over to Emma Stoner to tell us more…
It feels like quite a feat to have to choose my first wedding cake of the year for the Cake Love feature – I feel it should be something spectacular. I didn’t have any that I felt fell under the super celebratory looking, so instead I’ve gone for one that had that ‘feel good’ factor.
I love this ruffled wedding cake with it’s sweet deer cake topper and mini bunting strung above them. If you’re looking for similar wooden style cake toppers you should check out Star House over on Etsy – I’ve featured their cake toppers before (here) and they’re really lovely. You can even have them custom designed to look like you and your Mr, and they’re eco-friendly being made from sustainable wood, non-toxic paints and finished with beeswax.
I am so thrilled to share this photoshoot with you, and what could be lovelier than a bridal shoot featuring a reindeer, some owls, the beautiful windswept Cornish landscape, and a lush woodland? Oh, and a handful of TNWC recommended wedding suppliers.
There are just so many lovely photos from this shoot that I struggled to narrow it down – so rather than only share a handful I’ve decided to split the shoot into two parts to allow you to enjoy them all.
After this week’s goings on I needed something light-hearted and fun for today’s ‘cake love’ feature. This wonderful cake hit the spot I felt – an elegant white tiered wedding cake topped with the most unusual and quirky cake topper: a pair of white porcelain deer in full wedding regalia!
As if this cake was not already lovely enough, the tendrils of greenery (any ideas what this is flower people? clematis?) clambering up the tiers and wrapping around the loved-up deer is just genius. This cake shows how you can combine elegance with simple natural elements and a dash of quirkiness to create something beautiful.
I’ve got a couple of more funky wedding cake toppers to come, and if you haven’t already seen this mint green cockrel and hen topped wedding cake do have a look. This wedding cake came from this beautiful rustic park wedding.
Gorgeous inspiration and ideas for a pretty autumnal woodland wedding. Tartan table runners, pewter pots of fir and berries, tree trunk stands and tiny deer name card holders. What a delight!
