We would like to win these prizes as we would like a pretty, vintage wedding but can’t afford all the little extras to make it that little bit more special! As a younger couple, it is hard to match the day of your dreams with the reality of the cost. we want our friends and family to have the best day and remember the little details, something that winning these prizes would help us to achieve! Thanks 😀 x

this prize would mean the world to me, i have been planning this wedding with my wonderful mum, who is being kind enough to pay for my wedding, as she knows i could never afford it! we have our venue booked and we are planning a vintage feel wedding, and a relaxed atmosphere on the day, we are having a tea party after the ceremony and the vintage teacup, saucers and plates would just finish the look of the marquee off! the photo shoots would be a fantastic opportunity, i’ve never been involved in one before and i love photography! i’m always on instagram! i would be so excited to have my hair and make up done1 i would hopefully get some inspiration for the big day! I have no idea what to do with my hair!

Only yesterday we were talking wedding invites and were at a bit of a dead end as to what we wanted from them! And who wouldn’t love the baked goods!! they would be perfect in our afternoon tea or as favours!

All in all this prize would give some amazing touches to the dream wedding i am planning with my amazing mum.

thank you

Sarah

Hello.
My fiance and I are both students at university and we are getting married next year. I will be 21 and he will be 23. Some people have commented on how young we are but we believe marriage is a journey together, through thick and thin and we are prepared to start that journey together. We love all things natural, organic, fair trade and green. We also love supporting local produce and the community. I am currently studying textile design at university and so i am making lots of things for our big day but as my mother says; ‘i cannot do everything’. We would really appreciate anything to contribute towards our big day. So this is why we would like to win! We are hoping that White memoirs and the natural wedding company will be part of our special day! Thank you
Harriet

I’m from the US and my fella is from the UK, and we are making our wedding a total labour of love. We are making things ourselves, and hunting down the best quality vendors we can find to help us make our day the most personal, cozy, love-filled day possible. All of these vendors taking part in this prize look beautiful and we would be honored if we could work with all of them to help make our day lovely and memorable.

This prize would be the icing on the cake of a wonderful year, we’ve recently had a beautiful little girl called Elsie, but our bundle of joy has meant certain economic compromises. Our wedding was always going to be individual, hand made with a touch of elegance and a flair for vintage but we’ve had to let a few things go, such as vintage crockery, it would be utterly wonderful to win and receive some of the little things we didn’t think we could have.

Like everyone on here we’re also aiming to make our wedding a true reflection of our personalities. We have found a great quirky wedding venue in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, although it is nothing more than a blank canvas for us to dress.

This means sourcing everything ourselves, even down to the last teacup, so far we have 3! We’re also having to fund the wedding ourselves and therefore this amazing prize would be a massive help to our special day and relieve some of the pressure that we all know comes with planning a wedding.

Thanks Sarah x

Wowee, what a fantastic prize!! Thank you so much White Memoirs and Charlie for sharing this with us. I would absolutely love to win this. I’m currently writing my PhD thesis (due next week eeek) and I’ve been working really hard this year with zero time off. We’re also trying to plan our wedding for next summer but plans have stalled due to all my work. However, I have been able to daydream about cake tables, vintage china, art deco head pieces (to match my antique ring), and engagement shoots amongst the graffiti and twenties buildings of the Northern Quarter. I’m also really looking forward to my hen weekend as I’ve neglected my friends over the last year while I’ve been chained to my lab bench. So this prize sounds exactly what I’ve been daydreaming about and winning would be incredible. In fact, this all sounds a little too coincidental – am I actually dreaming this?! x
