White Memoirs Vintage Wedding Fair is returning to the historic Stockport Town Hall on Sunday 7th October 2012 from 11am until 4pm.  The second of its kind, the wedding fair looks set to be bigger and better, providing a fuller vintage experience for brides with over 50 independent bridal suppliers.

The original fair took place in February and showcased over 40 North West bridal suppliers and hosted an amazing competition to ‘Win your dream wedding’ worth over £2,000!  New additions to the October wedding fair include a Victorian Gin Parlour serving G&T’s in teacups, an exclusive wedding dress catwalk show from bridal boutique The White Closet, and a unique opportunity for brides to get involved in the ‘Bridal Boot Sale’.

White Memoirs ‘Bridal Boot Sale’ will offer brides the chance to sell their pre-owned wedding items such as clothing, accessories, and decor from their big day.  A ‘Bridal Boot’ table has recently been snapped up by vintage gurus Matt Nickson and Annabel Holland of Vintage 78 Gramaphone DJs, who will be celebrating their wedding day in September at the stunning Victoria Baths.

The wedding fair hopes to host over 50 independent bridal suppliers, ranging from venue stylists, antique jewellers, vintage hen parties, bespoke dress and accessory designers, classic cars, creative crafters, whimsical wedding favours, and of course scrumptious cake makers!

In addition, select exhibitors will be running interactive craft workshops giving brides-to-be a wonderful opportunity to take home a little memento.  Bethany Jane Davies of The Vintage Beauty Parlour will also be providing free vintage beauty taster demos to promote her hen party and bridal services.

White Memoirs is showcasing some never-seen-before exhibitors such as ‘An Era of Experience’ Vintage Hen Parties, a brand new business venture formed by the collaboration of four local bridal businesses.  Bridal accessories designer, Silver Sixpence in Her Shoe will also be revealing her third bespoke collection at the fair.

White Memoirs will also be running another exclusive wedding competition with a wedding prize worth over £1,000 – the lucky bride will be announced at the fair.  The first 50 brides that register for the fair will also receive a free goodie bag filled with promotional offers and gifts from White Memoirs exhibitors.

Stockport Town Hall is the perfect setting for the event and is a unique and historical venue known affectionately as “The Wedding Cake” due to its white facade and its beautifully designed tiered clock tower, crowning the entrance way to this Grade 2 listed building.
