Oxfam Wedding Auction

You might well have already heard about the fantastic Oxfam Wedding Auction project via Annabel at Love My Dress, but I wanted to share details and show my support for this wonderful project.

Starting on Sunday 29th April and running until Wednesday 9th May 2012 Oxfam Weddings will be hosting an online auction of incredible wedding items totalling over £70,000.  All the funds raised from the auction will go to support Oxfam’s charitable causes.

There is an absolutely fantastic line up of wedding items to bid on, and reading through the list I was delighted to spot a number of TNWC businesses involved.  Those TNWC businesses who have donated items to the wedding auction are:

Sabina Motasem Bride – three wedding dresses up for grabs

The Vintage Wedding Dress Company – a choice of any of their wedding dresses at a value of £1,500

Green & Gorgeous – a beautiful seasonal wedding bouquet worth £90

Blooming Green – four ‘pick your own’ buckets of flowers worth £200

The Stunning Tents Company – hire of one of their tents at a value of £5,000

Chocolate Couture – an 18 carat gold ethical wedding ring at nearly £600

Posh & Swanky Cupcakes – a hen party class

Isn’t that incredible!  I think it’s wonderful that so many of our businesses are taking part in this wonderful project and if you fancy bidding on any of those items then make sure you check out the Oxfam Wedding Auction starting this Sunday 29th April.

In addition to those TNWC businesses above, there are many more weddings items that you can bid on – you can view a full list over at Love My Dress – you’ll be hard pushed not to find something you’d like to place a bid on, and who knows, you could be the winning bid!

You can view the full Oxfam Wedding Auction Photoshoot over at Love My Dress including full details of everyone involved.
