What a lovely competition I have for you today! The winner of today’s competition will win a £25 gift voucher to spend on beautiful wedding accessories from A Alicia Handmade. You might have heard me talk about Anna from A Alicia Handmade before, she not only made my garter but she’s coming up to Cheshire to do a workshop at The Natural Wedding Company’s birthday party in April.
There are all kinds of pretty and unique wedding accessories to choose from, including delicate ring pillows, a lovely range of garters made from vintage ribbons and lace, fabric flower garlands, clutch bags and fascinators. Everything is made by hand and using a variety of vintage and ethical fabrics.

I absolutely love the Tiny Blossoms Boutonniere, it’s so unique and in keeping with a handmade wedding. I had been contemplating a button bouquet and these would fit perfectly.

I absolutly adore the gorgeous navy blue silky garter! It would be perfect for my ‘something blue’ and it’s so nice to see something other than pale blue! 🙂

Wow…it’s pretty difficult to decide really, with such a wonderful range! But I guess if I were forced to pick one, it would have to be the ‘Vintage Handkerchief Lace Handmade Ring Pillow’.
And the reason…?
…Well I can only imagine just how much more special, such a delicate and scintillating item like that, would make to the handing over of the rings which you will wear for the rest of your lives – symbolising your love and commitment for each other.
Moments like that stay with you forever; and what a wonderful piece to help treasure that memory.

Loveeee the ring pillow! beautiful delicate detail and the little ribbon holding the 2 rings together is so romantic and symbolic for the “tying of the knot”, love it!

My favourite item would have to be the pale blue delicate lace garter. I’ve yet to choose my garter, but in my head I’d already imagined something exactly like this to be my ‘something blue’ The only problem is I think I’d want to show it off to everyone, not have it hidden under my dress!
