I can’t believe that I only have two days left of visiting businesses on the TNWC South West Roadtrip (Sunday is my day off with family) – it has been an incredible week so far and I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading about my adventures.
Yesterday I had a pretty chilled day, which at nearly 29 weeks pregnant I was in need of after the busy week I’ve had. I headed from the south coast of Cornwall, across the county to just outside Wadebridge too meet up with Flo from Charlie Scribble. Flo creates beautiful wedding stationery with a very distinct style that incorporates her beautiful illustrations.
Did you see yesterday’s wintry Cornish reindeer photoshoot? If not you must go take a look – it’s stunning! Today I’ve got part 2 of the photoshoot that was dreamt up by wedding photographer Sarah Falugo (who also runs Green Photographic) and took place at Cornish wedding venue Gwel an Mor.
Yesterday the setting was a wild and windswept landscape, today a sheltered woodland featuring lush floral arrangements full of ferns and blackberries. For a photoshoot done on a budget, it is overflowing with lovely inspiration and ideas that can easily be recreated for your own wedding.
Despite it’s wintery themes, the shoot took place in August (can you believe it!) which explains the soft blush dahlias you can spot in the floral arrangements – no doubt from The Blue Carrot’s cutting garden.
A fantastic 20% discount on rustic illustrated letterpress wedding stationery from Charlie Scribble for two lucky couples
One of the newest businesses to join the directory has a fantastic wedding offer to two lucky couples this lunchtime on the blog. Charlie Scribble create beautiful hand illustrated wedding stationery (and animated ‘save the dates’) and are offering 20% off their letterpress wedding stationery to two lucky couples.
Charlie Scribble’s style is quirky, unusual, with a rustic simplicity that I know is loved by many of my readers. All of the illustrations are drawn by hand and printed onto high quality, FSC-certified paper and card. Do take a look at some of the designs Charlie Scribble have come up with – you’re bound to fall in love!
If you have been thinking about getting Charlie Scribble to design your wedding stationery, or if you’ve just discovered them and love their work, you must be quick to take advantage of this offer – it’s only available to the first two couples who email them with the subject line “Charlie is Brill!”.
It’s Sunday and I thought I would share something a bit different to the normal inspiration-type posts. This is an incredible animated ‘save the date’ from Charlie Scribble, one of the talented businesses you can find on the directory. Charlie Scribble can bring your wedding stationery to life with their stop motion animations like this Padstow inspired ‘save the date’ they created for one couple…
As well as being incredibly cool and quirky, you eliminate the need to send out paper ‘save the dates’ to everyone, instead you can just email people the link, or if you have a wedding website you can embed the animation onto a page. Visit Charlie Scribble to find out more about the animated stationery that they can offer you.
