I hope you’ve all had a great weekend and that the sun shone for you, at least a bit. What better way to start the week than with an exclusive offer for all you lovely TNWC readers!
One of recent additions to the directory, Ellie Gillard Photography, was keen to introduce herself to you – I was delighted because not only does Ellie take gorgeous photographs, but like all our businesses she does her bit to run her business in an eco-friendly way.
So if you’re on the hunt for a wedding photographer then get to know Ellie Gillard Photography a bit more, and enjoy looking at some beautiful pictures from weddings she’s captured. Plus, at the bottom you’ll find an exclusive 15% off last minute availability offer if you book before the end of May 2013! Over to Ellie…
Hi, I’m Ellie. I’m the photographer, owner and general dogsbody at Ellie Gillard Photography. I love to photograph couples who want to break for the norm, I always think a picture says a thousand words but what you might not know is that I’m also eco-friendly, both in my life and in the way I run my business. So I make four key promises.
I have missed sharing some of my favourite finds from other wedding blogs, but am determined to get more of them back here on the blog for you. I had to share some pictures from this beautiful New Zealand beach wedding where the bride wore a stunning brown dress.
It’s so lovely and refreshing to see gorgeous alternatives to a white wedding dress, and I would have never imagined how lovely a brown wedding dress could look until I spotted this wedding. I also love how the bridesmaids wore mismatched white dresses.
The flowers from this wedding are also exquisite – not having any knowledge of native New Zealand flowers and foliage I can’t tell whether they are native nor seasonal, but they look like they should be.
I know, I know – more mismatched vintage bridesmaid dresses…but how could I resist? These bridesmaids look so lovely in their individual dresses, each different and unique, and yet together as a group they also look fabulous. These dresses reveal my inner girlieness!
Why dress your bridesmaids in matching outfits when you can find such pretty vintage dresses across your colour of choice. These sweet vintage bridesmaid dresses in different designs are in a variety of shades of pink, peach and oyster.
Get out there and start hunting for your own unique set of dresses for something a little more individual and special for your day. From vintage stores to charity shops, carboot sales and Ebay to boutiques, you can find something far more interesting than a set of mass-produced matching dresses.
See all the photos from this Elegant San Francisco Wedding.
There are so many brides now choosing to have mismatched dresses for their bridesmaids and I think it’s great.
I particularly love these floral dresses, and love the idea that you could use unique vintage dresses rather than the traditional mass-produced bridesmaid dresses.
