A recent addition to the directory is an inspirational company called Jewels for Freedom who are doing truly amazing work.
Set up in 2010 by Carol Shipley, Jewels for Freedom sell beautiful bridal jewellery, donating all the proceeds from sales to a charity called ‘Children on the Edge’.

Green and Gorgeous recently ran a hen party workshop for a bride who has ordered buckets of flowers to arrange herself for her April wedding. The bride and her bridesmaids spent a fun and relaxed day creating spring posies, flowers in a tea cup and a corsage.
Spring flowers included anemones, tulips, muscari and scented narcissi – aren’t they gorgeous in those vintage tea cups! This pretty floral bracelet is made from reclaimed biscuit tins – who would have guessed that such a beautiful item could come from such humble beginnings! I spotted this vintage lace Victorian wedding dress on Etsy and thought it was so pretty it should be shared. My wedding dress is made with 100-year old lace, so I particularly love this era for its delicate cream coloured lace. It is so pretty and feminine.
