I have a wonderful competition on the blog today to celebrate the launch of a new, handcrafted bridal collection from Pearl & Co – full details on how to enter to win their beautiful ‘Anastasia’ headband are below.

Their new collection, Adorna, features a versatile range of headpieces, sashes and garters, alongside opulent brooch bouquets and embroidered ring pillows.
For the new Adorna collection, designers Helen Lancaster and Carly McLoughlin wanted to merge luxurious glamour with soft, subtle feminitity, which can been seen in the range from the petite, pearl Evelyn forehead band, to the jewel embellished Deva hair adornment. Pearl & Co also incorporate a number of vintage embellishments and up-cycled fabrics for their pieces.
What I love about this new collection is the versatility of a number of accessories, which can be worn as either headwear or sashes. Martha (below) is an example of one of these pieces, created using a frosted white textured fabric featuring a whimsical, floral pattern that has been hand-finished with tiny silver beading.
Pearl & Co’s range of handmade garters feature subtle touches of romantic shades, such as pale lilacs and pinks alongside the whites and creams. Each garter is finished with an individual design detail such as a lace appliqués, pretty fabric petals and rare vintage beading. The garters come in either flat or ruffled variations.
As well as their ready-to-wear range, Pearl & Co also offer a bespoke service on all of their handmade accessories, which allows brides to share their ideas and have a truly unique and personal piece created for their wedding day.

The Prize
One lucky TNWC reader will win the beautiful Anastasia headband: this romantic piece features three handmade ivory lace flowers and leaf detail, which have been carefully embellished with a delicate scattering of rhinestones, beads and crystals.
The design is attached to a pearl beaded headed with thin ribbons for a comfortable self-tie. It can be worn across the forehead (as shown) or as a headband. The Anastasia headband is created using up-cycled vintage fabrics and embellishments as well as new jewels.

What beautiful accessories you make, they really look amazing quality, and they are a little bit soft & Vintage but also in keeping with a modern wedding, which is exactly how I’m trying to style my Autumnal October wedding (not a pumpkin in sight mind you!) I have a vintage style strapless lace dress with leaf detailing on the base & a bespoke made Bolero for my autumnal/harvest festival themed wedding. I am also wearing my fiancés deceased Gran’s pearl necklace which she received for her 21st as my something old. We are funding the wedding ourselves & I haven’t thought about my head wear yet. I would love to win your beautiful headband as I love all things recycled, upcycled and handmade. I would love to wear this with pride on my wedding day, in order to help me prove to the doubters (I have many!)that re-used items are not something to be sniffed at, but to be tinkered with into a new, charming life. The ‘theme’ of our wedding is ‘local'(family farm venue, local food, locally made dress, locally grown flowers, etc) as it’s a cause we believe strongly in, and to have a headband by a small, independant business from the city where I live would mean a lot to me too!

These accessories are absolutely gorgeous! I really want to have a ‘unique’ styled headdress, one that’s delecate but very effective. I’m really concentrating on my hair as my dress isn’t white but a stylish ‘berry’ colour and this headdress would go wonderfully with the colour but also the hand sewn flowers and rinestones that are on the front of the dress!
