This pretty vintage dress made in the late 1970’s would make a beautiful wedding dress for someone having an understated wedding or a couple who are eloping.  If Mr Rigg and I had eloped this is what I would have worn, in my mind it inspires dreams of spending a summer living on the edge of a prairie.  It costs around £20 and is available from Coldfish Vintage.

A 1950’s floral lace wedding dress with 3/4 length sleeves and a long train – this dress is romantic and you can almost imagine it on a fairytale princess.  I would carry a bunch of blousy old-fashioned roses or a spray of wild daisies.  This dress is from deLightly Used and costs just under £200.

It’s funny how vintage wedding dresses conjure up all kinds of dreams – this dress makes me imagine myself getting married in the South of France, with a lavender buttonholes for the men and lavender crowns for the flowergirls.  Originally bought from a vintage boutique in Paris, this dress is now available from Dandelion Daydreamer and costs £500.

A pretty knee length vintage tea dress with dainty collar and button details, perfect I think for an afternoon tea inspired wedding.  There is so much to love about the dress, from the tiny belt to the lace underskirt.  Bring on the vintage tea pots, delicate cucumber sandwiches and bowls of strawberries.  This dress is available from Animal Head Vintage and costs around £170.

This antique white lace dress would make a stunning wedding dress for a couple planning a city centre wedding.  I’m not an expert on fashion or what goes together, but you see so many chic city weddings where the bride wears a striking short wedding dress like this with funky coloured heels and a birdcage veil.  This dress is available from Dandelion Daydreamer and costs around £240.

An elegant vintage 1950’s brocade dress for anyone after that old school glamour.  You can’t help but stare at this dress, with it’s tiny waist and full skirt, and that gorgeous oyster colour.  If you’re looking for a wedding dress that isn’t in your traditional white or ivory but you don’t want something too out there, then this could be for you.  It’s available from the The Vintage Studio and costs under £100.

This vintage Mexican wedding dress with lace cutout detailing would be lovely for a bride planning a down-to-earth festival style wedding.  I think it would look great with a wreath of colourful flowers worn in your hair and with a bouquet of dahlias in hot pinks and oranges.  This dress is available from Coldfish Vintage and costs around £90.
