Last night I was lucky enough to have an invite to the Love My Dress Summer Soiree in Newcastle.  My outfit included painful but gorgeous peeptoe shoes, the first ever pair of patent leather shoes I’ve ever owned!  I always wanted them when I was little but was never allowed them.

Mark and I drove together and ate a glamorous dinner at Little Chef.   The party was held at the BALTIC Centre and was full of gorgeous people in equally gorgeous outfits.  We drank cocktails, munched our way through scrummy cake pops and shoe-shaped biscuits, watched an incredible burlesque performance, and took some bad photos in the photobooth.

On top of all that, I made three lovely new friends – Emma B Photography, Sam Clayton Photography and Katie from Perfect Days Vintage.  I also got to see Joanna from Vintage Twee again, and meet the lovely Nia Fiori who I’ve recently met through Twitter and will be featuring some of her gorgeous work on the blog pretty soon.

Didn’t get back and into bed until 3am, mega car journey back through scarily thick fog.
