Wedding rings hold so much sentiment so what could be more meaningful than handcrafting them yourselves in celebration of your union? Anna and Rebecca are experienced goldsmiths who will ensure that you are guided through this unique experience with light-hearted ease.
Make Your Own Wedding Rings
Our ‘Make Your Own Wedding Rings’ experience was founded in 2019 by fine jeweller Annaloucah. Her vision was to share her passion for bespoke design and artisan craft with those seeking to add some extra special magic to their wedding celebrations.
Soon joined by goldsmith Rebecca Maddock, as a multi award-winning team, they bring almost 30 years of combined knowledge to every workshop.
The focus is on making your time together a truly unique occasion by placing your specific needs at the heart of your day. It is a day filled with personal touches – and what could be more personal than the classic and eternal wedding ring? Imagine looking at that special piece which you wear every day and understanding not only its significance but also, it’s creation.
Union is magical in whatever form it takes. No matter what traditions you follow, omit, or redefine there is so much delight to be found in cementing that bond.
The studio is set within a vibrant artists community and, as an individual couple, you will spend the day learning traditional goldsmithing techniques and enjoying a deliciously decadent lunch before celebrating your precious creations with a perfectly chilled glass of bubbles!
You don’t need to be crafty or have any experience making jewellery to create beautiful rings. All you need is enthusiasm – Anna or Rebecca will be on hand to help you with the rest and look forward to welcoming you to their studio.
As a fine jeweller Annaloucah, is proud to be one of the world’s first Fairtrade gold licensees and has been the recipient of numerous awards marking her commitment to best ethical practice.
She has carried these standards through to her ‘Make Your Own Wedding Rings’ experience using 100% recycled precious metals as standard with Fairtrade or Fairmined gold being available on request.
Both Anna and Rebecca are members of a voluntary group of jewellery professionals who have come together to campaign for greater transparency within the industry as a whole.
As such, they welcome any questions that you might have regarding these issues.
Your rings will be presented to you in a luxury leather jewellery box handmade by artisan craftspeople in Bangladesh. Cardboard packaging is available as a vegan alternative with all other packaging and printed materials being either biodegradable, recycled or FSC regulated sources.
