Beachcomber Jewellery

Recycled gold and silver wedding rings inspired by the beautiful Welsh coastline

Who are we...

Hello, I’m Kerry I live in a small village in west Wales and make jewellery in my little shed in my garden. I love to make simple, timeless designs with natural organic finishes, with the lowest possible impact on our beautiful planet.

Beachcomber Jewellery started in 2010 when an obsession for sea glass collecting led me to do ‘something’ with all those jars of treasures! This soon led to a passion for ring making. All jewellery is hand made by me in my shed in Ceredigion, using traditional tools and techniques, avoiding harmful chemicals.

I am inspired by the beautiful Welsh beaches and coastal environment and feel incredibly fortunate to be able to visit the coast every day.

All rings are made to order using only recycled gold and silver, I am passionate about making eco-friendly options available to everyone.

I have made donations from the sales of jewellery to the Marine Conservation Society and am currently very happy to be supporting the conservation project for the Ladybird Spider in the UK.

I’m married to a conservationist and Mum to three awesome boys, awareness of the environment and the effect we humans have on it, is part of our daily life. I feel incredibly strongly about the conservation of biodiversity and caring for our planet, we need to look after it for future generations.

It’s a joy to be able to make wedding rings, feel truly honoured to play a part in something so special.

I have only ever used recycled gold and silver in my jewellery.

Each piece is hand made by me, using as natural a process as possible avoiding the toxic chemicals associated with jewellery making.

I try to make my environmental impact as minimal as possible, I only use water from my currently overfull rainwater butt, all polishing compounds used are vegan and all packaging is of course plastic free.

My little wooden shed is in our garden which is given over to wildlife and encourages biodiversity, being married to an invertebrate conservationist I have learned to embrace the ’critters’ who join me!
