Moss and Moon reflects two elements of nature that symbolise what we value most. Moss represents renewal, resilience and the quiet way life returns and thrives, even in the most unexpected places. The Moon reminds us of the natural ebb and flow of life – the cycles of growth, change, reflection and renewal that shape all our journeys, including love and partnership.

We are both quietly, yet passionately, dedicated to nature and to helping people realise their dreams. Nina is a rare-breed shepherdess who lives and breathes the natural world and the rhythms that Mother Nature asks us to work with. Edwina is a wild woman herbalist whose work is deeply rooted in traditional herbal wisdom, folklore and a profound respect for the natural world. Our long-standing friendship, shared values and love of nature inspire every ceremony we create, bringing together the beauty of the landscape, the changing seasons and the stories that make each couple unique.

Together, we are fully trained celebrants with backgrounds in publishing, writing, public speaking and delivering engaging experiences for a wide range of audiences. Our combined skills enable us to create thoughtful, personal ceremonies that are professionally written, beautifully delivered and filled with warmth, authenticity and meaning.

Alongside her celebrant work, Nina runs a rare-breed smallholding, caring for sheep, pigs and chickens in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Edwina runs her own herbal practice, sharing her knowledge of medicinal plants, seasonal living and the traditions of the countryside. Together, we draw inspiration from the land, its flora and fauna, and the changing seasons to create authentic, memorable ceremonies that truly reflect each couple’s personalities, values and shared story—whether traditional, contemporary or completely unique.
