Who are we...
I’m Molly the one-woman designer and maker behind Molly Frances Studio. I love to design to unique and one-of-a-kind bridal accessories that speak to who you are as an individual. Inspired by my interests in ancient goddesses, fairytales and the natural world around me.
If you are looking for a tiara, hair comb or headpiece that’s inspired by ancient goddesses and powerful women, fairytales, song lyrics or the natural world, then you have come to the right place! I want everyone who wears one of my pieces to feel beautiful, powerful and special and come up with my design ideas to reflect this. Made to be treasured, worn, re-worn and handed down.
At Molly Frances Studio, each piece is a carefully handcrafted one-of-a-kind design, which means your hair accessory will truly be special and unique to you and your day. I love to design this way as it allows for more creativity in the different styles I can produce, giving you the customer more chance to find a unique piece that speaks to your soul, and also lets me include vintage beads in my designs that I wouldn’t be able to do if I were creating multiples of each piece.
I also offer a bespoke service, whereby I work closely with you to bring to life your dream hair accessory. This is ideal for if you have a colourful wedding dress you want to match, have a group bridesmaid order, a specific colour or theme in mind, or even if you have a sentimental old necklace you want to use the beads from to repurpose into your wedding day accessory.

Consciously crafted in small collections, an antidote to mass produced and throwaway ‘fast fashion’, each piece is handmade by me in my Nottinghamshire home studio.
Designed to be treasured, re-worn and handed down through the generations as a keepsake item.
Whilst I am not perfect, being environmentally conscious is highly important to me both in my personal and professional life.
- Where I can I incorporate vintage beads and pearls into my designs, sourced from broken and unwanted old necklaces that might otherwise be thrown away.
- Any new beads I use are sourced from small businesses or trusted uk based brands.
- All my packaging, even down to the kraft tape, is all recyclable with no plastics used.
- My business and thank you cards are all printed with environmentally friendly inks onto FSC sourced paper.
- Any returns will be resold, or the materials repurposed into new designs.
I am always looking for new ideas on how to become more sustainable, so do let me know if you have any!
