Hidden away in the beautiful Pewsey Vale, a unique and eco-friendly mobile venue
Who are we...
I’m Jessie and I started up the business shortly after getting married here myself - in striking countryside with a circle of handcrafted wagons, fire pits and the beautiful woodland and lake all owned by James. It really stood out as something incredibly special and something James and I really wanted to share.
The pop-up venue includes the sole use of two fields (one can be used for parking/camping) a bridal wagon in the woodlands by the lake, 4 other wagons for a total of 12 guests to sleep in, a kitchen wagon, an eco toilet and shower wagon, a large fire pit, generator hire and drinking water supply, a recycling and washing up station and a handmade bar structure. You are free to organise your own bar if you wish, we do not charge corkage. Although we do not hold a wedding licence, there is a stunning woodland spot in front of the lake where you can hold a blessing/humanist ceremony, there are also several registry offices and churches nearby.
We are proud to offer a really personal and friendly approach and lots of little complimentary extras to ensure you really enjoy your wedding day and the lead up to it. For example, we offer flowers from our very own kitchen garden, old tin baths that you can fill with ice to chill your drinks, vintage barrels you can use as bar tables and handmade bunting amongst other things. Best of all, we encourage you to come and start setting up a few days in advance, perhaps have a small gathering by the lake wagon and cook pizzas together on the handmade pizza oven or toast marshmallows on the fire, we won’t charge you extra for that – it’s all part of the fun!
Please contact us for a brochure and to organise a time to come and visit, we would love to show you around and talk through your ideas over tea and cake!
We recognise that running events has a direct impact on the environment. We are committed to enhancing the environment wherever possible and minimising negative impact always.
We want our customers to really think about their guest’s journeys to the venue and minimise the impact on the environment as much as possible by using public transport or car sharing
We are committed to investing in carbon offsetting projects and will donate monthly to a carbon offsetting charity of our choice.
We are open to charity suggestions and we will always invite customers to donate at the time of booking.
We are committed to recycling and minimising waste. All customers must separate their waste into glass, cardboard, cans, food waste and general waste and recycle accordingly.
We will always use and recommend suppliers that share our eco friendly ethos.
We have mobile composting toilets and a shower for our customer’s use. Composting toilets work by turning human waste into an organic composting material which can safely be used to fertilise the soil.
We encourage the use of solar powered, LED and battery powered lighting
