Queen Bee Cakes
Unique, delicious, and beautiful natural wedding cakes
Who are we...
I’m Emily of Queen Bee Cakes. I started my career as a chef in 2004, working in a number of restaurants and artisans cafes in London, California and Devon, before starting my own wedding cake business. I have also worked with Sarah Raven at Perch Hill Farm where I learnt skills in floristry and growing cut flowers.
Inspired by the abundance of local produce in Devon, Emily creates exquisite wedding cakes.
The utmost attention is paid to detail, using seasonally, locally sourced organic ingredients at every chance.
Cakes can be decorated with fresh, seasonal and locally grown flowers or crystallised edible flowers, and also organic and seasonal fruits. They can also be made to suit special diets (e.g. gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, nut-free or vegan).
All Queen Bee Cake’s are individually designed and hand-made to your requirements. Each cake is unique, and as delicious as it is beautiful.

Queen Bee Cakes uses only the best and freshest quality ingredients, which are organic, fair-trade and locally sourced wherever possible.
The wild blossom honey comes from our own hives, and we grow some of the fruits and edible flowers in our organic garden.
“Emily baked us the most amazing cake for our wedding, It completely blew me away when I saw it, but it didn’t just look incredible, it was also absolutely delicious. Several people have told us it was the best cake they have ever tasted – particularly the carrot and walnut layer.” – Katie & Pete
“Thank you once again for our wonderful wedding cake, it was absolutely stunning both to look at and to eat. The lemon curd was particularly delicious!!” – Olivia
“I was sure I wanted a naked cake and Victoria sponges are my absolute favourite so we went for a strawberry and vanilla sponge and a lemon and blueberry sponge. We also has a gluten-free chocolate cake & mini vegan Victoria sponge cakes. Emily has her own garden and decorated the cakes with flowers and fruit, which looked amazing. The cakes tasted delicious and all our guests commented on them.” – Susie
