tiny flowers wedding hair

Floral crowns, garlands, headpieces – however you describe them – are incredibly popular for weddings at the moment.  I think it’s lovely that people want to wear flowers in their hair, especially these crowns of flowers that have that boho, natural look.  However, I still love tiny touches of flowers, for those of you, like me, you aren’t one for making big statements with a mass of enormous blooms on your head.

This is a beautiful example of how subtle flowers in your hair can still look as lovely as something more bold.  These tiny fresh flowers look like they might have been attached to wires to secure into your hair – the best bet would be to ask your florist and your hairdresser for their advice.

The wonderful 100 Layer Cake has recently done a fantastic post on ‘how to do your own wedding hair’ and I spotted this gorgeous combination of braids (or plaits) and fresh flowers.

Some of you might remember this brides beautiful flower adorned hair, well here’s a bridesmaid with jolly blue cornflowers (one of my favourites) fastened in her hair.

I really wanted to use fresh flowers in my hair on my wedding day, I’m just having trouble deciding how I want my hair and how flowers could fit in.

I am used to wearing my hair down most of the time, so I don’t want a fancy ‘up do’ – but if I leave it completely loose there’s not many ways or places to fix flowers in.  Thoughts welcome!

Not only are the photos of this gorgeous Lithuanian wedding stunning, but the bride wore the most beautiful white flowers in her hair.

As if by magic, the tiny snow white flowers are dotted throughout her hair – I would love to know how you get them to stay!  They look so natural and so beautiful and I love how they cascade through her hair.

Also loving the grooms funky green and white stripey socks, the magical woodland setting and the sweet goats!  What a cute couple and delightful wedding – more photos here including a stunning shoot on the beach.
