This is the final part of our mini series on featuring our Real Wedding Favourites. If you haven’t viewed the other six parts, you can find them all here, or individual links at the bottom of this post. Today we are going to round up this series with our Favourite Special Wedding Moments. These are particular moments from the real weddings we’ve featured that really stuck in our minds. Tender moments, a detail that made us feel a bit teary, and even a moment that we found quite scary! Groom Washes the Brides Feet during their Wedding Ceremony It’s always […]

Romantic wedding in the country I took a look back through the Real Weddings we’ve featured on the blog, and it’s been months and months since we last featured one. In other words, it’s been too long – I know how much wonderful inspiration and ideas that other couples’ weddings provide, and we have lots of pretty ones lined up for you. Today we have the romantic, rustic country wedding of Hayley and Iain who got married in Cheshire this past September which was sent to me by Christopher Ian Photography, one of the great photographers on our directory.  Over […]

Just like TNWC Real Bride Emma last week, Nik has only a few weeks to go until her wedding. Her and Mr-to-be Chris have been busy over the past few months with lots of DIY projects for their coastal farm wedding in Wales, and nothing has changed for this creative duo in these final few weeks before their big day. Today Nik’s got a fab round-up of what they’ve been up to recently, including a lovely reveal of their beautifully restored VW Beetle, making a wedding swing, and some ‘before’ pictures of the barn that will host their wedding reception. I hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend – it has been mixed weather in Cornwall and Devon with a lovely day on Saturday in Padstow, but rain on Sunday up on the north coast of Devon. On Saturday I paid a visit as part of the TNWC South West Roadtrip to Rowan Tree Studio, a lovely business run by Sarah who offers a range of crafty hen parties, as well as making wedding soap favours. The afternoon I arrived Sarah was just finishing off a hen party of eighteen, who had spent a fun afternoon making a bridal trousseau. […]

Here on The Natural Wedding Company blog I’ve recently been introducing some guest bloggers in the form of my TNWC Real Brides – it’s been lovely for me to share the blog with others, and I hope you’ve been enjoying their wedding plans so far.  Today I’m going to hand the blog over to one of my fab TNWC businesses to tell you all about something they specialise in – stunning, ethical honeymoons. Amanda set up Tribes Travel with her husband 15 years ago after spending many years as a travel guide.  Their ethos for Tribes Travel is all about […]

Rustic Lithuanian village wedding It’s always nice to get inspiration from other countries and cultures when it comes to all aspects of life, but in particular I love seeing the way the other people celebrate their wedding days.  I am so excited that I get to share with you this gorgeous Lithuanian wedding shot by photographer Svetlana Batura (who also captured this timeless autumn wedding I featured). Svetlana took the time to tell me all about the wedding of Irminta and Artur and what they were inspired by, I particularly love the horse drawn cart ride for the bride and groom and […]

I must start by apologising for the lack of blog posts these past two days – I am currently in Devon with my family (parents, aunts, uncles, cousins) to celebrate my granny’s 80th birthday.  The last two days have been pretty full on and along with working hard on the new website (coming soon!) I’ve not had time to post anything here. We are staying at Burnville Farm, near to Brentor where this gorgeous wedding (above) I recently featured took place, and the farm on which my granny grew up in as a child.  It would also be a wonderful […]
