A simply stunning natural backyard wedding

Charlie

I don’t want to say too much on this wedding as I think it speaks for itself.  The bride wore an unusual wedding dress with a pale blue top half and lots of romantic ruffles.

I’m not usually one for ‘put together’ looking bouquets, but the combination of the varying shades of purple, lilac and white flowers have a natural feel and almost feel like something from a fairytale.  Even more so when you see the addition of the feathers in the buttonholes.

I also love the use of the sawn off tree trunks for seating at this outdoor wedding, and the ceremony backdrop of floaty curtains hung between two trees, with a simple garland of flowers and foliage draped across the top.

There are so many details and ideas that you can take and recreate from this wedding – whether it be collecting feathers from your local park or countryside, or creating a backdrop using a washing line and some light curtains.

You can find more photos from this pretty wedding here.
