Authentic, warm, and organic non-traditional wedding photography
Who are we...
Hey there! I’m Chris Scuffins! Rhymes with muffins! I live in the Cotswolds countryside with my partner Helen and our two fat and fluffy rag doll cats, Ollie + Willow. Besides photography, I love to travel and explore; and I totally I don’t mind getting my feet a bit dirty or standing in the rain for no reason…
Hello there! I’m Chris Scuffins, a fine art photographer from the beautiful Cotswolds countryside. Working with my partner Helen, I specialise in authentic and non-traditional portrait and wedding photography using both digital and film. I love nothing more than exploring the world, meeting wonderful new people and telling genuine, heartfelt stories with artistic, creative and emotional photography.
My work has been described as warm, organic and earthy; I love using open spaces, natural light and beautiful outdoor locations, as well as making sure everything I do is authentic and adventurous as possible. I’m based in Gloucestershire, but I work all over the UK + Europe. If you’d like me to be a part of your wedding day adventure, please get in touch…
As a keen cat-cuddler and vegetarian for over a decade, I can honestly say running a sustainable and eco friendly business is super important to me. Wedding photography is such a happy, positive and honest business, and I want to leave good vibes wherever I get to work, and that includes leaving the planet in a better place than I found it.
I run my little business to a strict eco policy, that includes running an efficient (and convenient) 100% paperless office, using rechargeable batteries in all of my cameras, and using FSC approved paper for all of my packaging and business cards.
From 2016, I’ve also completely removed any outsourced prints from our product line; I now only supply home made fine art prints, all made in house in our home studio. That way we have full control over the entire process from booking to shooting to delivery, which greatly reduces the number of deliveries and packaging we use. Plus of course, every single fine art print looks just the way we want them too. Being green is awesome for everybody!
