I never really put much thought into how my hair would look at my wedding, but I’m wishing I’d done a bit more research after seeing these lovely old images of Edwardian hairstyles.
Unless your wedding is aspiring to be completely Edwardian themed, I think images like this are a great means of inspiration for you to pick and choose certain elements. I often think that the best wedding inspiration is found in places that aren’t at all about weddings.
So taking ideas from those beautiful Edwardian hairstyles with their plaits, soft curls, buns and ribbons, here is some modern inspiration for wedding hairstyles…

I have found some time to search my own directory for delightful bits for my own wedding. I am on the hunt for a pair of pretty (and hopefully ethical) knickers to wear under my wedding dress. I came across these from LuvaHuva…
LuvaHuva creator and designer Joanna makes sustainable lingerie that celebrates an “elegant feminine style.” Her inspiration comes from her childhood home in the Suffolk countryside – I’m in love! Gorgeous, ethical, country-inspired lingerie.

I may only be having one bridesmaid at my wedding, but if I was having more I would go for these lovely colourful tea dresses. Handmade by Etsy seller sohomode the dresses are inspired by vintage designs. I also love that this bride had each dress in a different fabric for each bridesmaid, and added pretty umbrellas.
You can order these pretty tea dresses for your bridesmaids here.
