Blog
Following my afternoon at this photoshoot on Monday, a buffet of wedding cakes just had to be shared for this week’s Cake Love blog post. Why have one cake when you can have many? And all different flavours and styles?
Why limit yourself to a traditional tiered wedding cake when you could have cake stands and dishes full of your ultimate cakes – chocolate, lemon drizzle, cherry and almond, marble cake, carrot and pecan nut, or a rich nutella cake (Mr Rigg’s favourite!)?
When you have a wide selection of cakes and cupcakes for your wedding, there are so many ways you can display them – from pretty vintage plates or cake stands, to old up-turned cake tins, wooden crates to hessian covered boxes, or even slices of tree trunk for a woodland inspired wedding.
If you love the idea of a cake or dessert buffet at your wedding, stay tuned for the full photoshoot pictures (here’s a sneak peek over on Facebook if you can’t wait!).

Loving this Charlie! Would like to do something similar myself. Any ideas where I can obtain the tree trunks/wooden cake stands? Many thanks!

Hi Rhian, I would suggest maybe finding somewhere local to you that sells logs – if you speak to them they might be able to sort out some chunks of tree trunk that you can use for cake stands? That’s what I’d do if I was after some xXx
