Apologies for the quietness on the blog this week, I have been spending a few days with my family and celebrating my sister’s A-Level results – she is a bit of a smarty pants, but I’m still delighted that she’s got brilliant grades and into her University of choice.

I spotted this beautiful vintage inspired wedding cake on Pinterest which was featured on the Boho Wedding Blog.  Although I normally prefer a more loose and natural style, I liked the lace affects and the sugar craft flowers on the top tier, which remind me of vintage floral enamel brooches.  I also love the flower filled teacup on the top, an idea that I’ve previously shared.
