Cake love: a natural rosemary wreathed wedding cake
Charlie / 31 August 2012
Oh how lovely is this wedding cake! I love that something so simple can make you feel so cheerful. Somehow this pretty wedding cake captures what a natural wedding is to me. What do you think fellow natural wedding fans?
Sitting atop it’s tree trunk cake stand, wreathed in silvery green rosemary (the smell!), and topped with a single delicate white scabious flower, a few sprigs of purple buddleia mint flowers (I think) and those papery seedheads – it’s just heavenly.
I will stop whittering on and just let you enjoy it – such lovely inspiration for anyone wanting to have a homemade wedding cake that’s natural and rustic.
If you love this style of wedding cake, why not check out these other similar cakes I’ve featured: this rustic cream wedding cake with herbs and ferns, this simple white wedding cake with herbs and daisies, this wedding cake with a little white rabbit with sprigs of scented rosemary, and this rustic lavender and rosemary wedding cake.
