So many brides-to-be are busy collecting teacups and saucers to serve tea at their wedding, but why not find a different use for them that’s a little different to the norm?  I love this idea of serving soup in vintage teacups (as seen above it looks even nicer if you have the saucer to go with it) as part of your wedding dinner.

It’s really refreshing to see an alternative use for vintage teacups – I know the one above has two handles and therefore was perhaps designed to hold soup, but I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t serve soup from ordinary teacups.  While you’re at it, why not serve croutons or bread from gravy jugs – any other clever ideas for using vintage crockery for different elements of your wedding other than serving tea?
