We had cloudy lemonade at our wedding, but we served it in glass jugs I’d collected from the carboot – if I’d had more time (and probably money too) I think this idea of using small old fashioned style milk bottles to serve drinks in.
Doing a bit of research these cute bottles are becoming available in the UK, but they’re not cheap – perhaps you could have them just for the kids rather than doing them for all your guests. Red and white string and paper straws are readily available from websites like Pipii, which is where I got mine.
If anyone has found an affordable source of mini bottles do get in touch or share details in the comment box.

I love this idea! I served lemonade in mason jars for my cousin’s baby shower and loved it! We bought Starbucks Frappuccino’s from Costco and plan on using the empty glass jars as beverage jars at our next party:o)

So so cute! I’ve got a collection of old bottles I use to style shoots, it’s the added touches like here that make all the difference x

Hi, I only saw your post today. However I still thought that some of your readers might like to know that we hire out mini lemonade/milk bottles and drinks dispensers as well as vintage milk crates to put your bottles in. If anyone is interested they can take a look at our website which is http://www.porterandsmith.co.uk or email me on the address above x
