I wanted to share a few pictures from this wintery wedding I came across because I don’t think there are enough winter weddings shown, and its also a wedding from a part of the world that is quite close to my heart – British Columbia in Canada, where I spent a year of my university degree studying.

There is something refreshing and special about a winter wedding with a few rustic details – lots of candles and a few decorations that reflect the environment, in this instance lots of logs and twigs.

It’s also lovely to see a few splashes of bright colour, like the red clip in the brides hair – very Christmassy and a nice contrast to all the other netural wood colours.  I do hope more and more winter weddings are featured on blogs – they can be so lovely.
