I never really put much thought into how my hair would look at my wedding, but I’m wishing I’d done a bit more research after seeing these lovely old images of Edwardian hairstyles.

Unless your wedding is aspiring to be completely Edwardian themed, I think images like this are a great means of inspiration for you to pick and choose certain elements.  I often think that the best wedding inspiration is found in places that aren’t at all about weddings.

So taking ideas from those beautiful Edwardian hairstyles with their plaits, soft curls, buns and ribbons, here is some modern inspiration for wedding hairstyles…

Lots of soft, loose styles, and plenty of plaits.  Ribbons or flowers are a great adornment, and delicate wisps of hair to frame your face.
